Tipper (alternative to mtooltip)
available on the file listing, or grab the latest beta
please read the readme
the beta source is in my subversion repository at https://server.scottellis.com.au:240...m_plugs/tipper
requires unicows.dll on win95/98
use FontService to change fonts and colours. this kind of customisability is limited and will probably remain so - i have no plans to add support for bbcodes etc. at the moment
compatible with the unicode version of Variables by UnregistereD

I've been waiting for some changes in mToolTip for ages. Glad to see actively developing plug (i hope) with same functionality. Let's test it :)

Good and very flexible, but i have few suggestions...
I want to control formatting of a text (e.g. my mtooltip had normal names of fields <<UIN>> and bold values of these (not all, only for some) fields, etc), number of tab symbols everywhere...
I guess that editor like mToolTip instead of just item order would be better.
Or, just ability to use bbcodes in edition of fields and their values...

Nice plugin, just one suggestion: Can you please move the options dialog into ContactList ?
And a seperate setting for the border color would be nice ;)

Yep, the editing is going to be tough especially for weather.
sje, the avatar settings dropdown needs editing disabled, as does yapp:)

getting away from mtooltips text and ini file variables was a major motivation in writing this...
it's meant to be simpler - i don't plan on adding bbcodes or any further formatting - i think 3 fonts is enough :)

if you need any further translations let me know, or better yet provide one ;) (check out translations.cpp/h in the source)

yeah - will be fixed in next version...i'm just trying to fix the problem where it will hang on exit if a popup is open, and the issue with new newstatusnotify
