You need to select
- Do not display Weather condition as protocol status
- Disable support for automatic protocol icons assignment

If you do not want avatar overlay you need to select:
- Disable support for automatic station icon assignment

And there is no language problem here, you were asking all along why it's working the way it does and I was answering exactly that question. If you would describe how you want it to work from the start I would explain to you how to set it up to do that.

I have some problems with the latest version of the pluggin which could be due to some Unicode issues. Bellow you could see what happens when I start miranda. The names are ok in the beginning, but then after the pluggin updates the station info they turn to non cyrillic letters. In version 3.5 it is ok, but in 3.5.19 it is like that:



And this is how it looks in User Ifo window and mToolTip:



It could be an issue of the latest build but I don't know. Hope that someone have an idea where the problem could be.

If you search for a weather station, and cancel the search, you cannot do any additional searches after until you restart Miranda. I couldn't reproduce this on any other protocols.

Also, even though my station is added and is in my lists, I dont seem to have any weather info actually showing up, but this is probably a problem on my end.

Search cannot be cancelled, this is a Miranda "feature". Pressing Cancel button just closes the search window that's it. You have to wait for the search to complete to start a new one even if you pressed cancel. So to answer your question yes you can do additional searches you just have to wait before you do them.

It could be an issue of the latest build but I don't know. Hope that someone have an idea where the problem could be.

Weather` plugin does not support Unicode.

I am using "avatars" to indicate the protocol status/weather condition instead of the protocol icons. Works fine but I have a small feature request:

When the weather condition changes (status change), then the upcoming popups show the old avatar for the old condition. This is probably caused, because the popups are displayed before the avatar change is done. So might it be possible to add an option which delays the popups for a couple of seconds?

I've been wondering for quite some time if there was a way for avatars to display properly according to the current weather state. Because right now I have only static avatars (i.e. raining) when the condition is "sunny"

Have you enabled Weather proto in avs? Options -> Customize -> Contact Pictures
