Please note: This discussion thread is for preview release discussion only. Please also report any bugs you find to the bug tracker. Not all developers read this thread so posting all bugs you find to the tracker is essential.

This build is a Preview Release so third party plugins (such as clist_modern or tabsrmm) are not included in it. If you require any of them, you need to download the Contrib file as well.

A general comment about the readme.txt
Wouldn't it be better for new users to put the changes in a seperate changelog.txt file?

This way the readme could focus on the relevant things for new users...

Yes, the readme.txt could use some work. Perhaps this should be on the todo list for 0.9. Splitting the changelog from readme.txt is easy. But the readme.txt is pretty outdated imho so we need to update it as well.

I would just split the changelog for a start, maybe even before you release 0.8.5 since it is easy ;)

Updated to 0.8.5 today and it is working flawlessly, thanks for improving an already fantastic IM client. :-)

Does any of the ICQ updates fix the problem that makes new contacts appear only as offline?

There is no sign of it in the changelog, so I wouldn't keep my hopes up. :-/

0.8.5 crashes on exit.. the version 0.8.4 is fine, no such crashes nor any other.
