• Can't see any fix in AIM profile window - the color icons are still out of window. I had sent patches for that a while ago on the mailing list.
• Yahoo avatars are disabled by default while all others (AIM, ICQ, Jabber, MSN) are enabled. We need some consistency.
Options > Events > Update Notify -> Also check for pre-release... shouldn't this be an Expert-only option? It doesn't obey the expert checkbox, currently.
• AIM still has 32bit-only icons (for Menu & Profile Editor), which look awful in Win9x. I can upload fixed icons for that if nobody else cares (I remember I already did that in the AIM thread, some time ago).
Options > Customize > Avatars > Own avatars (tab) -> Old typos are still there (Pescuma fixed them in the 0.8 series): [...] always make them square / [...] same additional options [...]
• Items in the main menu are chaotically mixed, there's no separate section for protocols only.
• Tooltip over the contact list's [x] reads 'Close', however clicking it will minimize to tray instead of closing the application (I hate the dog of whoever invented this stupid behavior back then). Can the tooltip text be changed to reflect reality?

That's about all I could notice on a quick look. For connectivity I'll let others comment.

Windows creates the caption buttons so without custom drawing them, I don't believe you change change that tooltip.

This is being looked into.

It has been changed for the final build.

I really don't see the need with only 2 checkboxes on the whole options page. Perhaps in a future release, but at this point only bugs are being fixed in 0.7.5.

I will try to look at this before final release.

This will not be changed for 0.7.5. Users can still organize the menus themselves. I will look at this for 0.7.6.

I think it could be a good idea to wait with the 0.7.5 stable version, until all "main protocols" support the account manager.

Another thing are still the icons,
the icons are still not consistent, some menu entries (main and tray menu) have icons, some others not.

Thought 0.8 will bring the account manager???

Another question would be: Can you check the importer plugin? I merged two of my profiles and later I got a lot of problems because there where too much entries marked as "first".

0.7.5 is a totally different branch than the 0.8 series. The 0.7.x releases will never have an account manager. The purpose of these 0.7 releases is for people to keep using a stable setup. They generally will contain very few new features except when minor ones are back ported to this branch from 0.8.

If that checkbox stays and will dissapear in some future version, people will jump asking what happened, even if they might not have any use for it.

As most people that use the stable versions do not have the guts to try the alphas and might not even care about them, I doubt there is much use for that notification anyway. But it's your call...

Thank you for fixing those issues above and looking into the remaining ones.

I merged the icons from the 0.8 branch. So they should be identical now.

There is a temporary fix in 0.7.5 now that will show all toolbar buttons. I will rewrite this window correctly for 0.8.
