TOC2 version of the AIM.dll

This forum is for help discussion.

Plugin development issues go here:
http://forums.miranda-im.org/showthread.php?t=3993

"First, before you ask for help.... Try these things... and read the included toc2-readme.

Did you try reseting the login server and port? what version do you have? Did you try the server "toc.oscar.aol.com" Did you check to see if your database is corrupt? Is your username and password correct? Did the plugin give you any information?"

It works well ! Effectively, the ms..dll is needed. You must install it at the Miranda folder, or in C:\Windows\System32\
I guess this dll won't be necessary in the future stable version.

That's just my fault for compiling in MS's .net compiler. I recompiled with Gnu compiler collection so it shouldn't be needed anymore.

Great ! What a reactivity !
It works without the MS...dll, and the aim.dll is half-weighted. Great job !

By the way, are you sure you have modified the version number ? It could be important for the Updater plugin, in the future.

Thank you !

If there are any forum admins around, I vote for a sticky.

I would also suggest opening a plugin development thread for anyone who wants to give developmental input, or help to improve the plugin. This thread here is likely to fill with thank yous (^_^)

i replaced aim.dll with your version and aim connected immediately. i had some "merged contacts" groups (not sure why), which i simply deleted.

aim connected and so far, no crashes.

thank you for the great work. very nice. :)
