Yep, i'm using official ICQ plugin. Still works. I can see my contact list, message to my friends, but can't send/receive files. Also, some user info reports are wrong.

I have just patched both trunk and stable branch of SVN. It now utilizes the exactly same algorithm for packet sequence generation as official ICQ. I was unable to test it, because today for some strange reason it started to work even with unpatched protocol (thru a testing proxy with russian IP (thx Ghazan) - here it never stopped).

PS: If someone is interested, I can back-port this patch even to the old 0.3.9.x branch (the even older 0.3.5.x branch is definitely dead now).

Here is Joe's patched ICQ plugin for 0.8.x. You will need to update your miranda32.exe or else the core will not load the icq plugin. Also, since this isn't a normal test build release, I can't guarantee it will run correctly (so make sure you backup everything first).

I believe this branch should be closed and every complain on new plugin is personal complains because they depend on the whole number of other plugins in your Miranda.
