sorry bout the delay ... gave it a go on a fresh profile, started fine, .. added accounts, signed in, no crash, seems to work well so far

Oh, not yet. Ive committed it to the SVN, but didnt release it yet. I will try to do it on weekend. :)

...doh, apparently have been out in space the passed couple days, .. forgot there'd been an update to Facebook RM recently that also supports unicode avatars in 10a3 ... seems to be doing the same logging on status changes there now too... hm

Hm..the debug version should show you a popup like "Hashes are the same..." if the avatar is actually a duplicate. What does it do for you?

..got used to dismissing the debug popups :P .... part of the reason hadn't thot to check to see what was actually being logged to history. at the moment tho, no easy way to check the debug popups for Facebooks avatar changes, but avatar history's own history window, and history plus plus have multiple entries for the same avatar that coincide with status changes ... and only since the Facebook RM update ..

and upon even closer inspection, there are also entries that coincide with the same times i've logged in with Miranda

Hm I can try this with FB. Maybe it is one-time issue after the update, the logic is the same for all protocols. please watch the debug popups for FB next time :)

will do.. no popups yet ... (need to pay more attention to things before posting) ...<sigh>

checked also, the history entries that coincide with my own log on don't produce a popup. it seems they're also logged only for contacts that are online at the time i logon, or have been seen online recently .. hard to explain, is a weird set of entries
