Great! So far I've had fewer avatar change notifications and I seem to be getting fewer dups.
Only thing is the Avatar History dialog displays funny things (I'm using the Unicode version) where the date should be.

What you mean by funny things? Can you post a screenshot?
That is a unicode problem. I'll fix it.
Also, I'm talking to theMIROn and he proposed a change in the blob format i'm using to store in the DB. So, if someone is using this to store data in DB, please wait until next version.
Uploaded a new version:
- Fix for dialog
The links are the same:
Ansi: http://geocities.yahoo.com.br/ricard...avatarhist.zip
Unicode: http://geocities.yahoo.com.br/ricard...vatarhistW.zip
Source: http://geocities.yahoo.com.br/ricard...arhist_src.zip (need also utils folder from mgoodies)
PS: I forgot to say in last post: I changed some internal db names, so settings per user will be reset... sorry
PS2: The blob format change was not needed

This new version doesn't show any avatars in the AvatarHistory Dialog. Openening folder results in Folder 'Null"
I can confirm this, but only with the Unicode version. with ansi everything works fine...Originally Posted by Tommy
In addition I'd like to request another new feature (sorry if this has already been asked): would it be possible to not only show static avatars in the avatarhistory dialog, but also flash avatars (using flash avatar service) ?
I've never gotten a chance to see a flash avatars despite having the service plugin. Is it on MSN only?
No, it's on ICQ.
Here it works fine with unicode. You are using an unicode core?Originally Posted by gerk/Tommy
EDIT: I uploaded a version with debug popups, please tell me what they show:

One mpore thing, are you using folder service?
I do not intend to make this work because, AFAIK this plugin wont log flash avatars. I do intend to look at that service one day and find a way to make it work with avs. When this happens, your request may be coded.Originally Posted by gerk
