takes too long to read all the posts ... between history ++ and avatar history, at least for MSN protocol, there seems to be a multitude too many logs to the database for an avatar that hasn't changed (ever) or even in several minutes between six or seven entries in a row ... is there an explanation that comes to mind or is it possible there's just entirely too many options for everything spread through out the program settings that one was missed?

..looking more closely.. the log times in history++ and avatar history window viewer seem to coincide with status changes, either personal or theirs, and within a couple seconds ...

.. copied out of history++ .. and no the avatar hasn't changed ever..

Hi,
can you post a versioninfo please?
And please use the DBEditor and post the Settings from avatar history module here.

If avatar files are really the same, I think I can change it to only notify when avatar hash really changed :)
EDIT: Actually, it should already do that oO

<shrug> to continue, just today have a contact just sitting on the list, everytime their status changes, it logs an avatar change, .. yes, it's set to log even if there is no chat session, .. and yes, know for sure that the avatar hasn't changed, even the avatar hash hasn't changed, compared profile backup from last night to current profile just before this post, not even the timestamp has changed ...msn protocol.

Well, thats weird.. Can you try this debug version?
It shall show you some Debug Popups like "Hashes are the same... skipping", if the hashes are indeed the same..

will give it a go and see what happens ... altho now it seems to not be logging any avatar changes at all, including ones done on purpose, haven't changed any settings since last post ... strange ...

Well, what debug popups are you getting? You shall get a bunch of then :D

xaos: Okay, there was a bug in the last build, try this (I need the content of the debug popups)

EDIT: I reuploaded the plugin, the issue with the same hashes should be fixed now!
