Trillian add Skype support without Skype running. Support conference calling, receiving files. This is great. Miranda must do it the same. If not, will lose many users. Skype is the most popular program for chat and conversaton. Also, miranda not support conference calling, receiving files from skype users. The question is when miranda will add this extras? The users like me, do not care, why miranda have not this extras. If miranda can't give me this extras, i just change mirnada with trillian.
Btw, Trillian 5.1.11 work great. I'm using from 10 days...the program is awesome.
Still haven't received any API keys. All I can say: No API key, no SkypeKit support from my side... :)

Go, signup, read the TOS yourself, and if you think that it's safe for you to redistribute SkypeKit and the API key, send it to me. It's up to you.
I'll stick with imo2sproxy in the meantime ;-)
leecher has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.
Yeah, just received the quota exceeded msg from Miranda Forums, cleaned up my inbox.
I've been a Miranda user for years, and in my new workplace I have to use Skype, but it's way too clumsy to my taste (and running two IM clients is a pain). So I'd love to help you with this new SkypeKit plugin. Feel free to include me for beta tests (I'm a C/C++ programmer too, if that can help).
Hi,
A user was kind enough to donate his API Key to me so that I can have a look at SkypeKit and do some testing with it which may bring us one step further to the SkypeKit integration.
It's still up to the user regarding distribution of SkypeKit runtime and API key, but I'll drop my code for connecting with SkypeKit in the SVN repo, as soon as I coded it.
I'm currently busy with another project, but I'll start development as soon as possible.
Thanks for your support, maybe we get at least basic messaging working with SkypeKit :)
Since this was literally posted yesterday, I thought I'd share it:
