    Startup/Exit Status

I just started using the Skype protocol, and it seems to be working fine.
    However, I have one problem:

I use Startup Options.dll v.0.6.3.0 to set my Miranda status to Offline at startup. However, when I start Miranda, Skype automatically connects.
I have also tried with StartupStatus 0.0.3.27, setting all protocols to offline when Miranda shuts down, withouy any change.

    Any comments or solution?

    /Erik?

well, i want that option too; if it is not possible to set skype status at startup, maybe one can just let skype do it, as it remembers its own (last) status.

Skype plugin should start using the last status, it is working fine for me using startup status plugin.

If skype does not start with last status, it mean that miranda (or a plugin) ask to skype plugin to change the status.

I looked at the code, but it is already the way it behaves, it connect to skype API when setting a status from miranda (not Offline).

Can you describe with more details this problem ?

Thanks you all for feedback ;)

That's what it does, starting in the last status (usually online). So now I set all protocols to offline before quiting. A small anoyance, that's all. Apart from that, it seems to be working fine for me.

i am not too shure, but i think there is a plugin/otion, to set all protocolls to offline before miranda quits.

    StartupStatus plugin can do this.

    @ mrle:
    - Skype plugin will only connect to skype (if not start checked) when changing status IN Miranda.

    - I can add an option to avoid skype plugin writing byte in values in UserInfo modules for timezone.

    - About the remaining in memory problem, I will look using a debug version.
