Sending msg to Multiple contacts

Version 0.4.0.3 - I cannot send a message to more than one person at a time.
Did I miss something or is this feature no longer available?

It's still there. I'm not sure how to get it to work in .4.0.3 default setup as I don't use it.

But if you use tabsrmm, in the message window, there is a drop down menu near bottom right, and click on send to multiple users.

Unless you are talking about only being able to talk to one person at a time?

it was removed from the default srmm.dll

Why has it been removed anyway? Is there a modified version of the new srmm.dll with this feature?

You might try TabSRMM or Scriver - both are able to send a message to multiple contacts.

Yeah I know. But I want to keep it simple. nConvers would be a nice replacement for srmm, but it's still pretty buggy.

Have you tried Scriver? It does seem to be pretty simple IMO :S

it was removed because it was buggy, some protocols will boot you from the server for sending too many messages too fast

Yes I tried scriver. But where exactly can I find the option to send multiple messages?

There's a keyboard shortcut for this: Ctrl+Shift+Enter. It will send the message to all open tabs.

A little drawback is that you need to open the tabs first. But if nConvers is so buggy then Scriver might be a better solution ... at least for the time being :)
