    Valorize discussion

This thread is dedicated to Valorize, a plugin trying to polish your options dialog in case you are running Windows XP or above. Follow the link to find out more:

Valorize on Miranda IM file listing

So this is the right place for feature suggestions (though I can't imagine any), error reports and general comments.

    ---

Some people reported crashes to me. I soon will post some instructions here with which it should be possible to track down the crashes. Please come back soon. :-)

    Debugging the crashes

So following my announcement here are the instructions with which you should be able to help me track down the crashes:

    • Include a VersionInfo report in your crash report (how to use VersionInfo and where to get it).
    • Please use Crash Report plugin (mirrored because orignal location seems to be unavaliable). You should include its report that should be generate in your Miranda IM folder when crashing (miranda32_crash.txt or similar).
    • Get the debug version of Valorize, otherwise the above information will be mostly useless.

Please send the above mentioned things to me - preferably via the forums private messaging to avoid spamming the thread with crash reports.

In case the debug version doesn't crash anymore but the version you downloaded from Miranda IM's file listing does, please still send me a report. I will try to problem though it is a bit more difficult.

    Thank you!

Edit: Links removed because problem seems to be solved.

Given your version info I was able to reproduce the crash. Though I don't know what caused the crash I was able to fix it. Now it doesn't crash on my machine. Could you please download and test the recompiled release version and tell me if it works for you, too?

    Thank you!

Great that it worked. I will upload that version to the official file listing so that others can benefit, too. And I'm especially happy to hear that you are one more happy HistoryStats user. :-)

    OK, another one here ;)
Sorry for my ignorance, but i dont understand one part of this plugin.
tabSrmm, nudge and others implement own code snippets for XP themes, therefore there is no need for this plugin,
OR if this plugin is installed the code in the plugins are useless. :|
I guess something is wrong here.

When it was written these plugins hadn't supported XP themes in tabs.
