Mtooltip hides behind contact list after 2 seconds

This did not happen before. When I hover over a contact to get their tooltip, it shows up, but after 2 seconds hides behind the clist. My clist is not as wide as the mtooltip so I still see the tooltip behind the clist.

I have the clist as always on top, if I disable this it works fine, but I've had this enabled for months without this problem.

It hides between the clist when your My Details plugin cycles through protocols.
If you disable that feature your Tooltip will stay in front of clist

I do not cycle through protocols.

Are u sure you have the option unchecked? The cycle will probably occur even if you are just using one protocol.

I have had some issues with this in the past. The thing u discribed occurs for me to with latest versions of Clist Modern layered and My Details. I had an issue earlier where I had to check the Always on top Window option to get mToltip in front of Clist

I use clist_modern_mod and just msn.
It is not checked. I enabled and disabled it again to be sure.

options->conatct list->window-> always on top is checked. It shows the mtooltip ahead of the clist when that is unchecked, but it worked before with it enabled for months.

I wrote something in the My details thread a sec ago.
I realized that if I uncheck the "Always on top" box in Contact list \ Window mTooltip stays in front through the cycle.

This piece of info might help you too.

I have this problem with my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, too ! I don't think it's because of the driver...

If it absolutely wont work, you could try tipper plugin. I use it now with no hiding problems.

I remember I had similar problem, and not only mToolTip/tipper were affected. Also popups and contacts and main menus where going behind the contact list.
I solved it by disabling Floating Contacts (fltcontacts.dll) 1.0.0.7 (I don’t know why FltContacts interfere with contactlist).
