It should be no Problem, even when you said you were reding some stuff, did you follow the orders given in http://www.google.com/support/talk/b...y?answer=24885 here? I just followed it and had no problems at all...
Definitely read that...
Followed that too and all I get is an error message that says:
"The connection requires an OpenSSL Library, which is not installed."
Thanks
You should pay attention to the error string :) You need to install openSSL, gtalk only works on secure connections and you need ssl for that.Originally Posted by midsummer
I am to lazy to look it up on MirandaIM.org therefore I uploaded the files on my Site:

Just put them in your Miranda Directory....
I dont know how long I will keep it there, whoever knows the real link and has the rights, please edit...
Here is my package:
http://www.lastwebpage.de/pictureupl...SSL-0_9_8d.zip
ssleay32.dll, libssl32.dll, libeay32.dll version 0.9.8 from http://www.openssl.org/

Am not that familiar with OpenSSL, stupid Xmas question but how does one go about installing it? Oh man have to review Windows, been sometime...
Like I have said, just put them in your Miranda Directory... Its actually that easy.....
Merry Christmas
Ok... Miranda directory it is
If you want instant GMail notifications while you're connected to GTalk, scrap that and use Jabber.dll Gmail mod.
It is a Jabber mod that has the default GTalk settings built-in and adds instant e-mail notifications for GMail, by means of popups (you must have PopupPlus installed for that).
