Well, current directory in Windows could be anywhere, if the user is browsing the computer.
After playing a little more, I found such AIMOSCAR folders about everywhere, as I've been wandering through the Miranda folders a lot.

I've had issues with (global) status changes similar to Drugwash's.
Sometimes the reaction is sluggish, sometimes the change doesn't seem to "take." I think it might have to do with custom away messages or using statuses other than online, away, or invisible (which are the only ones listed as supported on the plugin's webpage.)
I'm using clist_modern, and the latest version of the aimoscar plugin.
Oh, and I'm in love with this plugin.
    Thanks so much!

I'm using IEView and the nicks of AIM users in the chat log appear as 'Unknown Contact', even though in the clist the nick shows.

This is changed behaviour from TOC2.

Yes, I guess the issue is that the other non-AIM states are not bound to the AIM standard ones, so for example globally changing to 'Out for lunch' will not set AIM-OSCAR to 'Away', but it will let it in the same state.

Also, in message windows my name is displayed as "unknown contact."
    Looks like this:

    otherUserName: <message>
    '(Unknown Contact)': <my response>

Not a big deal at all - I know who I am (most days anyways). I'm more interested in why this is happening.

Also, if I'm being an annoying n00b, tell me to shut the hell up. Please.

Thanks for all the hard work!

    Unimportant

Line 67 of snac.c should say "too", not "to".

Hopefully I'll figure enough of this stuff out to make a real contribution at some point.

    True- should I bind them?

Known. I'm currently grabbing the current directory; which, is the wrong thing to do.
