I'm so glad someone finally got around to writing this plugin. sje... you are truly a savior to the Miranda users of the world... first the AIM TOC2 plugin, then Updater, and now this. You deserve a holiday named after you.

Anyway, there seems to be a bug/problem with the Sametime plugin, in sending messages. I've disabled encryption, since I was getting an error when trying to send messages. After unchecking the encryption box, now I don't get an error when sending, but the recipients tell me that my messages are garbled, and unreadable. Also, when I try sending a message to myself, I never receive it.

Is there any debug log I can post that might be helpful?

Just tested chatting with 0.0.2.2 and my buddy with Sametime 3.17 (?) - works ok! Didn't test Russian. All options are default, encryption is on.

Ah, didn't know that 0.0.2.2 was out. Just upgraded, and my messages go through fine now. Thanks! This plugin rules.

So I've been using this plugin for most of the day, and I'm really happy with the messaging... Works flawlessly, and not having to use the horrible normal Sametime client is great.

One problem I'm seeing is with the lists. I create a new group, and place users into it. When I restart Miranda, it puts nearly all of the users I moved, back in the original list, but some users remain in the new list. Not quite sure why that's happening. Also, I cannot rename the group it imported from the server.

I'm guessing this has to do with not supporting server side lists?

go to options -> network -> sametime and upload your re-arranged contacts back to the server. should be fine next time you connect.

supz - AIM TOC2 isn't mine...yes there was a version there where i was trying some UTF8 stuff to try to fix the unicode problem, and i stuffed up even normal messages. Now it's back to how it was (no UTF8) - I'll play with that some more soon. I haven't been able to send messages to myself, on IBM's test server. I don't think sametime allows it...can you do that with the normal client?

I have updated it again (version 0.0.3.0) - please note the change of URL in the first post.

The new version has been upgraded to use the Sametime 3.1 toolkit, and also has Updater support.

sorry for the frequent updates, but i've just put up version 0.0.3.1 (matches toolkit :)...this version includes another attempt at the unicode/utf8 thing. If anyone is able to verify that unicode messages from miranda to sametime connect and vice-versa are working, then I think the plugin will be ready for the file listing.

also, if anyone can tell me whether file transfers are working i'd appreciate it

It doesn't work with version 0.0.3.1. Miranda crashes the moment I click the accept button on file transfer dialog window. Sorry :(

When trying to connect, i always get the following message:
    "Logged out -reason : 0x80000003 "
Any idea what the problem might be?
