everything works fine if i disable the away system plugin, but then i obviously can't use away system.
i just ran dbtool (forgot all about that!) and that seems to have taken care of it. thanks!

like a week ago i couldnt see any of my aim users in miranda contact list online.
since after searching 4 help, i got here, i read a little and found out its not only me.
i guess im having the same problem as most(or all) of you.
in my tries to solve this prob my self i got to those TOC2 files and the new aim.dll
i downloaded both of them.
then i replaced the original dll with new one i just downloaded.
since im not sure what im supposed to do with the TOC2 i came here to bother you, as my last resort. what to do with it?

if theres any other thing i need to do to be able to chat with aim in miranda, plz help me.

typing notifications are working fine for me. using 1.4.0.8.

Okay, change the port too 29999 if you see the aim icon showing you online then you are online. If your buddies are not apparing as online what you want to do it right click on your buddies and hit "sync buddy with server-side list".

ok snaphat, 10x.
now, what happens now is that im online, but most of my buddies are ofline.
today, before i changed te port+synced, 3 of my buddies sent mee an "hi" msg, means they were able to see me online(and in fact, i was online according to the status in the buttom of miranda).
those 3, who are now online, i can see them online, but besides them there is only 1 i synced and im able to see online. is that supposed to take time to sync all with the side-server?

Yes, changes in the protocol from TOC1 to TOC2 made it required... As of the moment I do not have a sync all feature; i just have the manual sync 1 contact at a time. Sorry. I do plan to implement a full buddy list sync.

snaphat did U think about MSN Server side dialog? make this for AIM will solve most of issues, and will be nice way to make AIM more "advanced"
