Spam filters and spam erradicating plugins...

I believe I have posted this kind of message here before, and I was shot down becuase the some people told me they didn't like message manipulation in plugins, but that's a retarded argument so please don't even bring it up. I am pleading to the people who create plugins that already do the job of message manipulation (ex: spam filters and spam removal). These plugins do plenty of message manipulation wouldn't you guys agree? So all I am asking, is for an option that you can turn off or on that removes 100% exact incoming duplicate messages within a certain amount of time. Please, for the love of god, reverse engineer this check box into your plugins so I can forego the erasure of one of my friends just becuase he's being silly.

Fire Away. I have mBot plugin enabled, just waiting to be put to use.

But I'm not really interested in those scripts that make you add commonly used spam words in order for it to know what to block. I'm looking for a feature that once enabled, allows everything to come through, but if it detects an exact dupilicate message proceeding the same message, then just filter it out. So if somebody types:

Spam Master 5000: 8D!
Spam Master 5000: 8D!
Spam Master 5000: 8D!
Spam Master 5000: 8D!
Spam Master 5000: 8D!

I only see:
Spam Master 5000: 8D!

If what you are suggesting can't do that, or even something remotely as effecient, nevermind.

DFYX was kind enough to make such a script on my desperate request, exactly for the same reason: I had a MFSOB that kept sending me Yahoo Buzzes until my Miranda crashed. With this script, you only get the first message from a long repetition, timed at 60 seconds (customizable by editing the script and replacing 60 with whatever you see fit, in seconds).

It also features a Buzz add-in, that works exactly like the one in Yahoo, only you can use it in any protocol. Just put a ding.wav file in your mBot folder and whenever someone sends you <ding> (exactly as it is, with the < >), it'll trigger that sound.

This feature was added to the "Disliked Messages" Filter of the Spam Filter plugin (filters onlist-contacts).
No script needed anymore :-)
