The new addon site is breaking non-English characters again! (It breaks one UTF-8 character to various ANSI characters, as it happened before the large server problem before)

Please either fix the problem or revert back to the old site (The plugin page with non-English characters are impossible to see now).

    Some plugins with this problem:
    http://addons.miranda-im.org/details...ewfile&id=3816
    http://addons.miranda-im.org/details...ewfile&id=3730
    http://addons.miranda-im.org/details...ewfile&id=4026
    http://addons.miranda-im.org/details...ewfile&id=3348
    any many localizations.

p.s. "Localization" is UK spelling, "Localisation" is US spelling, actually both are correct.

How can I save screenshot? What`s antisave protection with blank.gif?

Please, don`t remove link to full screeenshot without that useless and unusable (but with many whistles and blinking) javascript, we don`t need in effects, we need normal work with screenshots.

Generally, with lightbox, you will link to the actual file but clicking will result in the full screenshot being shown without opening the url. This will allow you to right click and save screenshots this way as well and it doesn't open up a new window to show the image.

    That`s nice, thanks $)

One more idea, should section «recommended plugins» be added?

    Some bugs:

    1. in a plugin details the breadcrumbs are:

and when you click at the changelog history they became

    2. author name is not clickable when showing list of plugins of a type

    3. clicking over the arrow near the Download text does not start the download

    4. In the plugin administration area there is "Edit profil" (without the e)

    5. LOCALISATION shouldn't be LOCALIZATION? (I'm not sure)

And one feature request: it would be cool to see all author plugins when seeing the author page
noticed and will be checked, thanks a lot for your effort :)

/*EDIT*/ Okay the most is fixed

ye the problem was to find a solution to display the screenshots without the need to generating (at this time) thumbnails and being viewable in the filedetails. The screenshots are in the background (with a transparent picture in the src parameter) so they wont be resized and the view is randomed on big screenshots.
A fullscreen link will follow. Thanks for your effort, too =)

Three comments about this new addon site:

    a) great job, well done, tjado

    b)
    - Imagine a "beginner" start with www.miranda-im.org .
    - This user click on several buttons at the top
    - This user have some questions
    - This user click on the addon site
    - This user click on "documentation" and maybe this is not a beginner, this is a developer and he click on "Development" too. He see:
"masm32 plugin template 0.0.0.0", "WTL and MirandaIM 0.0.0.2"; "New Hebrew Guide" from 2004; ...
I must admit, I have no idea how to make it better, but I fear that this both sections on the addon site confuse, and maybe annoy, some users.
Maybe put Documentation and Development below a new created section?
Or put development below Documentation and rename Dokumentation?
Or... I don't know, but I hope someone understand me. ;)

    c) Is this SSL for MODs really needed?
I know, 399$/year for a VeriSign certificate is too much, but on the other site, sorry no, I will not install this CAcert!
Is it not possible to make the SSL login optional?

    Peter

To b.) I dont understand you completly, maybe you can send me a german PM.

To c.) I will add a "Login securly" checkbox later, but i dont understand why you dont want to add the CAcert root certificate. CAcert is in the audit of Mozilla ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bu...id=215243#c158 ) so maybe one day it will be official in Firefox etc...
Maybe you can explain your concern? This certificate is generated by me but signed from CAcert.

    about b)
I think the content from this both categories are not the content that most users, specifically new users, hope for when they found this categories on the addon page.
On the old addon page were the same categories, sure, but on the new page they more eye-catching and I guess more users click on it.
I fear a lot of users click on it and think "How poor is this documentation? No thanks..."

about C) Ermm sorry, I am one of this stubid fools who not use Firefox, therefore I get a big red warning.
And sorry no, this was discuss in one of the jabber, MSN and SVN threads too, import root certifactes that I not trust, foil one of the main ideas behind SSL. Or you install any root certificate from a New Zealand server?
But this is more a philosophic question about SSL in general, it's not only related to the addon site.
