MSN Personal messages (aka status messages)

I have installed new version of Miranda (actually i replaced all the plugins and the miranda32.exe from new version to the old) but I can't find WHERE i can read the MSN Personal messages.. the users details as usually show only nickname, and the status message doesn't appear in the msg window.. any suggesion how to find it?

options, msn network, enable msn 7 and reconnect

Bumpity bump.

I activated said option on my MSN plugin (v0.4.1.3), but each time I try to see a contact's status message I get a "Retrieving mode message..." dialogue, and it just... stays like that.
Any ideas?

miranda itself never does "Retrieving mode message..." as far as I know
are you using another plugin that does this?
are you following the steps in post #2 above? or something different?

That's mTooltip's option, and the 'Retrieving...' message itself can be disabled.

D'oh, yeah. I forgot to mention this comes up when using mTooltip.
In any case, disregard this. It seems the thing fixed by itself.
