...okay, someone somewhere needs to clarify either on this site, or on miranda-vi exactly what's going on with the various dev builds and numbers ... there was an alpha 9.50 or whatever the previous number was, and now an alpha 10 #4 again ... not to mention various erroneous build and release numbers mixed between the addon/plugin page here, miranda-vi and nearly anywhere else plugins can be found ...

any clarification would help , possibly links as well .. it's getting difficult to figure out where or what exactly is happening in order to know which versions to be testing, or using or watching for changes in .. or anything else for that matter

...sorry for the late edit, it would seem the 'Create Conference' added to Yahoo protocol could use a little clarification as well .. does it rely on contacts already in your friends list, or will it, is it able to connect to Yahoo's chat rooms?

Build 0.9.52 brought .10 and 0.9 builds in sync. The intention is to continue with 0.10 builds from now on. And to abandon the stable branch. We have not worked out with Robert yet how exactly we are going to do stable releases yet, and how numbering will look like, but there will be no parallel development in branches and trunk any more.

In the Create Conference dialog you can add any person you like. There is a small text edit field and Add button for contacts not on a list. To invite contacts that are already in your contact list, you just need check the contact you are interested in.

Borkra, with this new build Miranda instantly crashes with the FileAssociationManager plugin active. Please find crash reports below:

well, i haven't the time to start a new profile to test this yet, but i'll put this here anyway ... right clicking the yahoo icon in the status bar of modern contact list shows the 'Create Conference' option, but it doesn't seem to be opening any dialog windows .. neither do i see any new options under Yahoo's network settings .. ? ... one other thing... i'm going to guess 'Create Conference' , means Yahoo's actual chat rooms still aren't supported?


EDIT.. and after posting, saw the crash with FileAssociationManager post, .. I can confirm it did the same thing here

Where can I get the source for the 1.1.3 version version of the association manager? There are no problems with version 1.1.0 from addons.

It was on dev.miranda.im, but as the miranda.im community seems to be gone, I don't have access to this any more. :( I'll check with the version from addonssite when I get back home tonight. Thanks for your feedback so far.

don't know about source but the current 1.1.3 build that i was using came from miranda-vi
