2 MSN Unread Mail Popup Notifications

I'm getting 2 MSN Unread Mail popups when I start Miranda, I can't seem to figure out why as my friend only gets one...

We both switched our msn.dll file to v0.10.0.1

Also, he seems to get 1 popup and receives offline messages ok...but I do not.

I think it has something to do with this double popup problem...

I turned off alerts.live.com (discontinued service) as I thought it had something to do with that...no luck.

I actually installed windows live messenger to check if I could see anything out of line and disabled all the options I could...in my profile too.

Could it be that I'm using miranda 32 bit on 64 bit windows 7? (friend is 32 bit on XP)

I hope someone could let me know what might be causing this...

PS - > I have 2 underscores included in my email address name "__@hotmail.com" if that matters...

UPDATE: I don't know if it was Miranda devs or Microsoft who fixed it but thank you either way...It would have been a pain to switch all my contacts etc over to a new account...(Updated to 0.9.17)

Disable "Process Clist events" in Popup Plus options if it's enabled.

That release is old. Please don't use it.

i'm sorry...i'm now trying using the one from the developer's build...the only plugin I was using was history ++ but i'm liking popup plus now thx :)

Unfortunatly, I still get 2 notifications about my email and no offline messages...i'm going to try to test using another hotmail account and see what happens...

UPDATE: it works fine with my other hotmail account...I get only one popup and offline messages work ok too...strange, so its not miranda, its my hotmail account...
