    But, there are some problems...
    -it take 2-4 minutes until it goes online
    -the connection process slow down miranda
    -I get strange contacts in the root group. E.g. one contact with a groupname and it duplicate another group.
    -Move in groups not work, unfortunately I find no way to do this on the FB site, with the new design.
    (okay found this, Account->Edit friends)
    -Seems to me that is the same thing than this google jabber server, not any service

    Great new feature! Love it!

    Does anyone know who to hide specifically the Facebook offline contacts? You can't send offline messages so it doesn't make any sense to show them and it blows up the contact list HUGELY. I would still like to see MSN/ICQ offline contacts.

    Yeah those are all the settings I have. I've tried it with and without TLS enabled, still the same error.

    You can put them in a folder and right click the folder and choose hide offline users in here.

    @bleh7777,
    look in the Advanced Jabber settings too,
    there is a check-box about SASL, this must be diasabled (not set)

    Sounds like a good solution. Unfortunately not for me, since I already "abuse" groups to hide specific contacts in Adium on my Mac (which I use next to my PC).

    Well, anyway.
    You should maybe consider creating an option for Facebook chat in the network or account settings at some point and even set the default to "hide offline users", since I can imagine that a lot of people might ask for this.

    Adium hides offline Facebook contacts by default, too, and it seems natural and what people might probably expect.

    Is there a way to assign Facebook Contacts a Facebook Icon? I have the Icon dll, but i cant figure out how to exchange the standard Icon with it. I also use StudiVZ nimbuzz tansport and there i have fitting Icons.

    Password is set correctly. In the advanced settings page, SASL checked means disabled, so I tried both. I tried with SASL enabled (unchecked, like it was earlier) and with it disabled (checked). With it disabled, no error comes up but the Jabber XML console has a message saying "Jabber 1.0 is required" or similar. With it enabled, the alert box I mentioned earlier appears.
