At first, thanks for the support you are providing ;)
I searched the forum if there is any mention of a PC behind a NAT network (i think this is my case) with connection problems, but I couldn't find anything except a proposed solution to disable the UPnP port mapping, which I did, restarted the application and it idn't help.
I am using miranda 0.8.11, but this problem was the same with the previous verions. Iam using the default ICQ plugin, which comes with the application (0.5.0.12 IcqOscarJ).
I am receiving the following error messages:
Login failed for unknown reason.
I am using the server "login.icq.com" and the port set to "0".
I don't have anything else ticked except of "Send keep-alives" (this I tried also to disable). I also tried various combinations of ticking the "Secure .." options, but as I thought, it din't help. The password and login are correct (I logged in using meebo.com without problems).
If it helps, I am using the technology FLASH-OFDM (Fast Low-latency Access with Seamless Handoff - Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) from a company called Flarion for connecting to the internet. This is a modem from the Slovak T-Mobile branch. My "outside" IP is 220.127.116.11 and I am also behind a router.
One more thing - sometimes it works :)
If you have any tips, it would be great, I am battling with this a really long time now.
