Well, would it be helpful for you that I implement a switch where the timestamp for a message gets ignored and is always set to the current timestamp?
I think I figured out what the problem was, I was running a program that let me have more control over the processor speed (I disabled this because it would crash the computer when I tried it), backlight and fan speed, and I think that was causing some problems with the bios since it wasn't designed for this model. I've turned it off and the clock seems more stable, but I haven't been able to test very well yet.
Edit: Nevermind, clock is still doing it, that would be nice if it isn't too much trouble

And with the daemon thing, I've just been using -v because it doesn't always update the contact list when I sign in, and I can see when that happens, but not with -d, so I sign in again. But something seems to be crashing Miranda occasionally when signing in, but I haven't figured out what's the cause, all I can say is it's never the first time I sign in (worst kind of bug, and it might be the skype plugin and not the proxy)

I've added the parameter -t for that. I haven't tested it, but I hope it works, if you want to give it a try, download this build.

I also noticed that sometimes Miranda tends to crash. However I suspect a plugin bug, as my Proxy is just doing message I/O. Ok, I also wrote the first versions of the plugin, but I leave the bug analysis to the current maintainers as it may also affect "normal" operation (I don't have the current source repository to find the cause of the crashes).

Wow, thank you, and now I feel like a jerk because I think I found a workaround, I found someone online that it could be the clock trying to catch up to a different time zome, so I switched it to Atlantic time and moved the clock back an hour, and it seems to be going steady.

Yeah, I thought so because the proxy keeps running, and shows the same error as when I get disconnected for other reasons.

The -v parameter is good working? but it will be better to add a new parameter, for writing log file. It will be good for -d mode and in service mode (IMHO)

    Thank you! :)

Could you update the readme file to reflect this as well?

    Which .dll Files ?

The ones from OpenSSL ? When I check the first link it leads me to a page where I can download OpenSSL, but only a Installer. No .dll Files. Sorry if its just me being stupid. Could you please tell me exactly which .dll Files you mean.

    Thank you.

    Ok, let me refresh.

I download that im2sproxy.exe and put that in whatever folder. I download the Skype Plugin for Miranda and put it into the Miranda Plugins Folder.

Then I start the im2sproxy.exe on the DOS command like with this Parameter:

    Code:
    imo2sproxy -h 127.0.0.1 skypeusername skypepassword
Of course with the right Username and Password. Then I go into the Plugin Settings for Skype, change IP to 127.0.0.1 (keep the Port in ?) and then I restart Miranda.

Now I should be able to connect to my Skype account, without actually have to run SKYPE, right ?

That isnt working for me. At least it doesnt show me all my Skype Contacts that I have in my original Skype. They would be added automatically, right ?

Btw, is there no other way than to have a DOS File all the time running (incl. DOS Window) while I use Skype that way ?

Try putting -v instead of -h and get rid of the 127.0.0.1 when you start the proxy, that will give you a read out of what's happening, and if it's connecting

    When I do:

    Code:
    imo2sproxy -v skypeusername skypepassword
I don't get anything out of it, thats the thing. There is no text message, no confirmation or anything that shows that its doing anything really.

Same with the other line posted above.

Sure I only need this .exe File and the Skype Plugin for Miranda, nothing more ?
