cannot receive msg from Yahoo messenger

Hello everyone,

I am currently unable to see the status and to receive messages from my contacts who are using Yahoo Messenger. I can send messages (and the contact receives them) and my status can be seen, the problem is only to receive messages, online or offline. I have no problems with the MSN protocol. Any idea?

My configuration:
Miranda IM v0.7.8
Yahoo.dll v0.7.6
connection throw LAN

I found how to solve the problem: I have to install (but not use) yahoo messager! Like this I Miranda works well with Yahoo Messenger...

Try to enable 'Use Yahoo Address Book' in Options > Network > Yahoo.

* If you can't see such option(s), enable the 'Show expert options' checkbox at the bottom-left of the Options panel.
