Hard to explain the problem, but here goes:
Miranda is using UPnP to open up ports on my router for file transfers. Here is the problem though:
I haven't tried to do any file transfers, so it looks like Miranda is just opening a set of ports each time it runs. With this being the case, each time I reboot my computer Miranda opens up a new chunk of ports (one per service I use), however, these ports NEVER CLOSE. So as it stands right now, I have over 100 forwarded ports and yet only AIM, YAHOO, and MSN connections right now.
Now I doubt this is an issue with my router since I also use skype and utorrent, both of which use UPnP to open ports each time they are run. However, unlike Miranda, those two programs don't keep their UPnP ports open indefinably. When I close the program, the ports close with it.
Anyone familiar with this or have any suggestions to keep this from happening outside of just turning off UPnP in Miranda?
