    MtoolTip hides behind contact list

Sorry if this question has been asked elsewhere, I searched and I couldn't find anything.

    This is my version info:
    http://nemof.miranda-vi.org/global/
    (gotta love miranda-vi.org)

ok a photo is worth a thousand words, so I will just show you what is happening.

MtoolTip is appearing behind the contact list. As you can see pretty much all my plugins are up-to-date; I only use MSN so only have that protocol enabled.

Anyone got a fix for this? Barring that is there an alternative to Mtooltip which works?

Also, on a separate note, where can I get hold of the latest version of New Event Notify (0.1.9.2)? Much searching has been done but again it's been hard to find!

heh i shoulda read more thoroughly through that post. It seems as if there are some problems between clist_modern and mtooltip.

The problems seem to have appeared after I updated some plugins, I musta updated clist_modern. If I put clist to always on top as the post suggests then mtooltip displays properly. I guess I will just have to put up for now.

Thanks Andrew, I get lost in this crazy maze of a forum sometimes.

you wouldn't happen to know the loc of that new event notify plugin (0.1.9.2)?

    No I don't know.
You could always try YAPP as an alternate to mtooltip.

    You mean Tipper, I suppose.

heh i managed to figure out he meant tipper, however it still has the same problem as mtooltip, which suggests to me it's a conflict between them and clist_modern?

on the brightside, tipper seems much better than mtooltip so I am gonna stick with it.

Well I feel stupid for saying YAPP :P
Glad you figured out it was tipper :P

I have my contact list always on top, and have
    options->contact list->behavior->
    "hide method: behind right edge"
Tipper works for me there, and the clist auto hides unless I move mouse to right edge of screen.

Sad that tooltips can hide behind clist :(

I actually found another solution I quite like.
Contact list -> Window -> Translucency Effects

I ticked translucency effects of course, and stuck the clist to 0% when inactive, 100% when active. In other words the moment I move my cursor off the clist it completely vanishes. I generally keep miranda in the same position so if I need it I just move my cursor over it and it fades back in to 100%.
