Problem login in ICQ

Hello,

after using Miranda for a couple of months I am now stuck in the "Connection failed. Login sequence failed for unknown reason. Try again later." error.

I found a lot of users via google or in the forum having the same problem and I tried some of these suggestions without success. The only successful test was using gaim.

Some more details:
-> Miranda worked fine for a couple of months
-> Today: Connect to ICQ
-> Popup with error message "Connection failed. Login sequence failed for unknown reason. Try again later."
-> Upgraded Miranda to 0.6.0 with icq dll 0.3.7.5
-> same error
-> changed icq server port to 80
-> same error

Miranda was unable to make a connection with a server. It is likely that the server is down, in which case you should wait for a while and try again later. (error 10061)

i have a problem with a proxy.. its filtering the word 'icq' in urls.. any icq-server available not containing this word? do they have an static ip wich i could use?

you can try to get the dns entry for login.icq.com, but the ips change and may not be everything you need, also once it connects it redirects to other ip adresses (hostnames) for other features
