    Bonsai plugin

This plugin lets you rearrange the options tree by changing the options
groups and titles that plugin options are displayed under. Now you can
smove those stubborn plugin options to create the structure you want in options.

NOTE: This plugin works by using a hack, and you should backup your
    profile before installing the plugin.

    ***** IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER *****

Before using this plugin you should be aware that editing the groups
and titles of plugin option pages can make it extremely difficult for
other users to provide you with support, as they will not be able to help
you navigate the options tree if you have edited it to suit your
tastes. By using this plugin you implicitly agree that any changes you make
are carried out AT YOUR OWN RISK and you are SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for the
consequences of any changes you make.

Please also note that this plugin may in some instances be incompatible
with language packs, as by its very nature it can change the text to be
    translated.

    Requirements
    ============

The plugin requires an Unicode aware system, so if you're on Windows 98
you need Microsoft Layer for Unicode, UNICOWS. This can be downloaded
    at the URL below:

    http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/h..._announce.mspx

    How to Use
    ==========
Change the text in group and title to the group and title you wish to
use. For example, to move a plugin to Plugins > MyPlugin, set the Group
to Plugins and the Title to MyPlugin, then press Save.

To make an options page the root of a group, set the group text to an
    empty string.

To hide a plugin page completely change the title text to an empty
    string.

Be careful when requesting support, people will give you the default location of plugins (you can't expect them to know if you've changed those) ... ;)

    Hi eblis,

first of all, thanks for this nice plugin =)

You put it to the group "services" were actually are also versioninformation and updater. I think the idea to put some plugins out of the "plugins group" is good, because it is to full, but what must a plugin offer to be "service plugin" ?

I ask because I think that maybe some devs are not sure were to put there plugin now. Some clear definitions are missing. Ok with your plugin everybody can structure it personally, but there should also be quite clear guidelines how a plugin has to be for a certain group. Maybe even a further goup would make sense, dunno.
What do you think about this ?

    greetings

    WARNING!
    DO NOT DELETE
the title of Bonsai plugin, otherwise you aren't able to change anything anymore!

If this happened accidentally, delete the key 3559404930-2158675826-1301222402-T in Module Bonsai with DBE to get it back...
(Or, nice failsafe, deactivate Bonsai under Plugins.)

    @eblis:
Why isn't it possible to hide/move ALL entries in options?

    Still left:
    Contact List - Contact Display
    Contact List - Icons
    Events - File Transfers
    Events - Ignore
    Events - Sounds
    Plugins
    Status - Idle
    Status - Status Messages
    Status - Visibilty

Some entries are created by Miranda's core directly, without ever calling services. These pages cannot be changed using Bonsai.

    Hi eblis,

is it possible to add feature that a plugin can be put into main menu?
Would be a nice thing so i could put Popup plus directly to the main popup register...

    What do you mean ?
What exactly do you want to put in the main menu ?
