I had been installing it with each new 0.7.x version (using installer), and it always detected my custom miranda installation directory.

I havn't tried any of the testing builds so I am very far behind in what has been going on.

Look at the first post of this thread. There is a link "Changelog". It has exactly what you are looking for as it shows all changes made to miranda.
