ntdll.dll crash

Everytime I exit miranda I get the Crash Dumper dialog. And then i get the Windows popup "Miranda IM has stopped working". It says the faulty module is ntdll.dll.

A possibly related problem i have is when i exit the program, and try to restart it i get the message box "Miranda can't open that profile". Usually ending the process in task manager fixes everything, but it is still a pain.

This has been going on for months.

Windows 7: Typing notification in taskbar?

On XP, if I had a chat window open but minimized to the taskbar, I used to see a typing notification when the user was typing. In Windows 7, I just see the Miranda icon with no notification. Can this be changed?

Hide group does not work?

i can hide users but,
i cannot hide Jabber group name.

Hi. Here is description of my problem:

1) Problem: Miranda doesn't connect to any of networks i use - ICQ, MSN and Jabber. I've tried IRC, and no success. Weather protocol works just fine. Problem first occured 2 days ago, all of a sudden - no change in internet connection/provider, no change in internet connection method (at least from my side). Problem occuren first on 0.8.7 Miranda version -> I've downloaded 0.8.10 - no change.

2) Description: When i try to login on ICQ, Miranda tries to connect for a while, and then stops with "The server did not respond to the connection attempt within a reasonable time, it may be temporarily down. Try again later. (error 10060)" messagebox. Every single time. MSN is the same, extept no messages are shown. (see Netlog below)

3) What i've tried:
i) Fresh Miranda install (on 2 different drives) - doesn't help
ii) Disable all plugins but ICQ, MSN, CLISTNICER+, SRMM and Miranda Core plugins - doesnt'help
iii) Disable Windows Firewall - doesn't help
iv) Log in using http://www.meebo.com/ - works just fine for ICQ & MSN
v) Try http://www.seemyport.com/ for port 5190 (default ICQ login port) - doesn't work (dunno if usefull, but... :D )
vi) Reset router, restore factory settings - doesn't help
vii) I've found some very old Win7 beta connection problem thread on forum here, something with Dev version building, tried that, didn't work.

4) System: see Version info below.
I'm using TPLink TL-R402M router for internet connection. No forwarding/static routing set (at least i dont see it, factory setting used). No proxy in use.

Does anyone how to prevent my Jabber connection from reconnecting every time my laptop wakes up? I remember I had actually disabled this behavior somehow in my previous Miranda install, but I can't seem to find whatever the option is now. Please help, it's driving me nuts. ;) Thanks!

group chat notification

when somebody types my name in a group chat the icon of the window on the taskbar usually changes to yellow,when someone speaks it goes green. did you guys edit that out?

Is their any way to disable the status message changing dialog?

Clist modern - cannot resize

hi, i didnt find a clist modern thread so i just want to ask a quick question:
i am using it with some skins, but every skin i load, its always a specified size.
when i drag the clist window on one side to resize it, its always snapping back to its original size.
i tried various settings, but cannot make it keep the size i am dragging it too.

How to block authorization requests from spammers?

When I got an authorization request from a spammer in msn messenger, I got to choose deny and block future requests, and I never saw anything from that spam address again.
How do I do this in Miranda? I keep getting the same spammer wanting authorization. When I click 'deny', Miranda for some stupid reason wants me to give the spammer a reason, which I don't want to so I just click on the x, and then a few days later the same spamer is back wanting authorization. While the user is in my user list waiting for authorization I can't select block either.
So how do I about this? It was so simple with msn messenger.

Emoticons from contacts don't show

Hello everybody

I am new to Miranda. I've been using it for 2 days now and today a contact sent me an emoticon which I used to be able to see in MS messenger, but could not in the Miranda message window.

I know there are many emoticon plug-ins to download but my understanding is these enable me to use emoticons in my out-going messages, not display emoticons in in-coming messages.

I would be very grateful if some one can help me with this.

My firm uses FaceTime IMAuditor. I recently installed Miranda IM along with a couple of my colleagues and we're unable to send or recieve IMs to/from each other. We are using the AIM protocol

I can send and receive to others within the firm who are using the native AIM client and I can also send and receive IMs from outside the corporate network.

Has anyone had experience with this and is there a way for Miranda to work with IMAuditor?

When I'm using the menu item "Enable Sounds", it still remains disabled. The opposite works, though. But to re-enable, I must enter the sound options, because the menu is not working.

Wrong ICQ Statusmessage in clist_nicer

Hello,
since a few versions of Miranda clist_nicer is displaying the wrong ICQ XStatus.
Instead it displays a very old ICQ Statusmessage.
Don't know how old they are.
If I take a look into an account in the database I found under \Clist the entry "StatusMsg" and unter \ICQ "StatusNote" two different Status Messages.
Clist_nicer seems to take the "StatusMsg" instead of "StatusNote" but "StatusMsg" is in every contact wrong.
Every other Protocol displays the correct status and in Tipper is also the right ICQ status displayed.
It's not a problem with the 0.9.0 #3 Alpha build. This happens in release builds to.
