What kind of rule should I add to be able to keep Kaspersky Web Control active, but to let Jabber connect?

I'm running the Jabber server ejabberd 2.1.12 on a CentOS 6.4 machine. I can connect perfectly fine for example with Pidgin. However, Miranda gets stuck and freezes shortly after connecting. It doesn't quite get to the point where it shows Jabber's Online icon.

The network log reports

Here's my version info and here's the network log from the time I started to connect to the time when Miranda gets stuck. All protocols were enabled for the network log.

Chances are I'm missing something obvious. Does someone happen to know why Miranda gets stuck? after I clicked on the "Approve" button in the moderator panel I got:

"File has been approved.
